Hi there,
I’m Nastasia Griffioen.

I straddle the academic and design worlds by researching and designing digital technologies for wellbeing.

In my position as the Chief Scientific Officer of the Games for Emotional and Mental Health Lab, and as researcher at the University of Twente, I work towards reshaping the way science traditionally approaches digital tech and wellbeing research, ensuring that we expand our understanding of ‘human-centric tech’ (see here). I do this at the intersection of digital tech, science, design, and art.

I am the founder of Studio Gryphire, a design x research company through which I provide expertise and execution for projects that seek to design or scientifically test an evidence-based tech-for-good project.
